The Manufacturing Management Sponsored Degree Programme will see you studying at a university level, so you will need to have achieved (or be predicted to achieve) the qualifications listed below, or their equivalents:
- A-Levels - A Levels A* to B grades (achieved or expected), one of which to include Maths, Physics; and/or a Science/numerate subject plus any 1 other.
- GCSE - Good grades in Maths, English and a selection of other subjects
A passion for manufacturing
Beyond your academic qualifications, we'll be looking for evidence that you're genuinely interested in and enthusiastic about developing a career in a Manufacturing environment. For instance, we'd like to hear about how you tinker with cars, bicycles or motorbikes; or about an engineering project you've done at school, or an engineering club you've been involved with. Whatever it is, we need to know you've thought things through and are fairly sure that this career is right for you.
Fast learner and motivated
You’ll be articulate, numerate, and a fast learner who's good at engaging people at all levels. We'll also be looking for proof of your drive and motivation, so be ready to talk about your achievements in areas like sports, languages and extra-curricular activities.
