Power Systems

Power Systems

Rolls-Royce is focusing on combustion engines for the future - powered by sustainable fuels such as HVO, hydrogen or methanol. This way combustion engines can be operated in a climate-neutral way. By the end of 2023, 80 percent of our current diesel engines will be approved for operation with sustainable fuels that conform to EN 15940. In this way, we are paving the way to climate neutrality for our customers. Discover its stories:

Sustainable fuels

Rolls-Royce is the first manufacturer whose range of diesel engines are almost all approved for use with sustainable fuels that conform to EN 15940. This includes fuels produced from green hydrogen and HVO, a second-generation biofuel that can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90%. We plan to enable our customers in their energy transition and accompany them on this journey.
