Combining exceptional design with innovative technologies

The Pearl 10X features the Advance2 engine core, the most efficient core available across the business aviation sector, combined with a high-performance low-pressure system, resulting in a superior thrust of more than 18,000lb.

The engine is currently undergoing a comprehensive test programme, which includes the capability to operate on 100 per cent Sustainable Aviation Fuels.

One of its new key features is the 3D-printed combustor tiles, manufactured in a highly-complex Additive Layer Manufacturing process.

This pioneering technology, a first for any Rolls-Royce production engine, has been developed and extensively tested as part of our Advance2 programme.

The engine is the third and most powerful member of the market-leading Pearl engine family for the business aviation market. It has been optimised to exclusively power Dassault’s brand-new flagship aircraft, the Falcon 10X, revealed during a digital ceremony at Le Bourget airport in Paris on May 6th, 2021.

Designed in partnership with Dassault, the 10X combines our trusted engine architecture with further innovative technologies from our Advance2 portfolio aimed to pack maximum efficiency and technology into the aircraft propulsion system.
