Our apprenticeships involve a fair amount of academic work. For that reason, we'll need you to either possess or be on track to receive the qualifications listed below, or their equivalents:

  • A-Level – Three at grade A* to C, one of which must be in a numerical subject like Maths, Physics, Economics, Business
  • GCSE – Grade C or above in Maths (higher paper), English Language, Science and at least one other subject
  • Scottish Highers – Three at grade A* to C, one of which must be in a numerical subject like Maths, Physics, Economics, Business
  • Standard Grades – Two at Band 3, or Intermediate 2 at Band C or Intermediate 1 at Band A in English and one other subject

Enthusiasm for project management
Beyond your academic qualifications, we'll be looking for evidence that you're genuinely interested in and enthusiastic about developing a career in project management.

Fast learner and motivated
You'll be articulate, numerate, driven and a fast learner – someone who's good at engaging people at all levels. We'll also be looking for evidence of motivation, so we’ll want to hear about your achievements outside of school.

Team skills
We're also very keen to take on people who love working as a team. Because, despite the size of our company, we all enjoy working with other people. So, we'll be interested in how you've worked in a group, whether that's at school, with your family, in a sports team, at work, in voluntary organisations, such as the Guides,Scouts or Cadets, or as part of religious or community activities.
