Project Managers ensure our projects deliver on our commitments so they’re fundamental to keeping our customers happy and our business successful. These projects could include bringing a new gas turbine engine to market or overseeing the building of a new test bed, or creating a new manufacturing facility. All of which are huge challenges, and require immense talent.
Project management roles combine many skills, and you might think going to university is the only way to get them. There is an alternative. On our Project Management Higher Apprenticeship programme, you can develop all the skills you need as you combine learning theory with gaining practical, real-life experience and, unlike universities, we’ll pay you to do it.
As part of our team, you’ll have support from expert mentors as you work towards a Foundation Degree and a Level 4 Diploma in Project Management. You’ll also gain a firm foundation in project techniques, and complete placements in various areas of the company. These are normally six months each, giving you a real chance to get under the skin of different parts of Rolls-Royce and prepare for your first role.
