You'll need to be fluent in German, as you'll be enrolled at a German vocational school or university for the theoretical part of your training. Entry requirements vary slightly for the different roles:
- Aircraft Mechanics: You'll need to have successfully completed 10th grade, or even the Abitur. A good grasp of Maths and Physics, along with at least a basic knowledge of the English language, is essential.
- Industrial Mechanics: You'll need to have successfully completed 9th grade or higher. A good grasp of Maths and Physics, along with at least a basic knowledge of the English language, is essential.
