Intelligent Insights will develop into a suite of tools which will bring new pace and agility to decision making and improving the quality of data harnessed for customers.
It supports our IntelligentEngine vision launched earlier this year. It is based on a belief that the worlds of product and service have become so closely connected that they are now inseparable. The coming together of product and service, supercharged by digital technology, offers wealth of opportunities to improve the way we provides power to customers.
The first Intelligent Insights tool, Technical Insight, provides an automated engine data feed to the Cloud, ensuring 100 per cent of customer data is captured and analysed, and replaces traditional manual data recording, which only captures a fraction of the data much more slowly. We estimate it can save 50,000 hours a year consumed by manual data logging.
Technical Insight uses Natural Language Processing data analytics techniques to automatically make connections between data from different sources, enabling patterns and issues to be identified earlier and more reliably than through manual data logging. This data is then provided to customers in an easy-to-use app which enables accurate and quick technical action.
