Value Chain Competitiveness Improvement Framework

The Value Chain Competitiveness (VCC) Improvement Framework described in this website is an integrated suite of Lean best practice principles, 'How-to' methodologies, tools and leadership behaviours required to operate and improve Manufacturing value chains.

As an operating system, this VCC is quite unique; fundamentally people centric but with an all-encompassing process depth across a broad spectrum of value chain activities. These include New Product Introduction, Facilities Design & Layout and Build-in Quality processes to everyday Problem Solving, Performance Management and Productivity Improvement methods.

In making this VCC Improvement Framework available to our industry partners we hope that they will find it beneficial in establishing a culture of Continuous Improvement in their organisation. The How-tos in the respective Modules provide the essential improvement road-maps for fixing abnormalities and for improving operating standards. All the How-tos are presented in a simple ‘why-do’ / ‘how-to’ language to enable and encourage a self-assessment and self-help approach to improvement.
