The centre:

  • Supports over 20 airline customers operationally across the Asia Pacific region
  • Provides local expertise and engineering decision-making capability in the same time zone as customers
  • Comprises over 50 skilled personnel delivering engineering support, operational planning, innovative data services, and account management

The CSC is part of a global strategic approach that includes five regional customer teams serving Asia Pacific, Americas, Europe, Greater China, and the Middle East and Africa.

SAESL is a joint venture between Rolls‑Royce and SIA Engineering Company

The S$185 million SAESL facility, located near Changi International Airport in Singapore, is a centre of excellence for the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of the Rolls-Royce Trent family of aero engines.

SAESL is the only Approved Maintenance Centre in the world with the capability to repair and overhaul every variant of Trent engine.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art engine test facility, the SAESL facility has the capacity to perform over 300 engine overhauls per year, supporting all variants of the Rolls-Royce Trent engine family, including: Trent 500, Trent 700, Trent 800, Trent 900, Trent 1000 and Trent XWB.
