We are committed to contributing to the economic development and social wellbeing of communities throughout South East Asia. Our targeted Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programmes and initiatives reach thousands of children, students and educators across the region every year, playing a role in changing lives and contributing to brighter futures.
As a company at the forefront of innovation, we seek to promote STEM education to inspire the next generation of innovators and develop a future pipeline of talent for the industry eco-system. Our employee volunteers, or STEM ambassadors, globally support our outreach to as many people as possible, across countries, backgrounds, and education levels.
We work with schools, non-profit organisations and other industry associations to organise educational and community initiatives, including hands-on STEM workshops and grants and mentorships for university students.
Rolls-Royce supported the Science Film Festival, reaching children and youths across six countries in South East Asia.
The Festival aims to promote scientific literacy and awareness of contemporary science, technological and global environmental issues to a broadly based, young audience. Investing today in tomorrow’s talent is crucial to support the vibrancy of the region’s aerospace sector and drive innovation in the industry to meet the demands of a rapidly growing region.
