Power Systems

Our Power Systems business is a leading provider of high and medium speed reciprocating engines, complete propulsion and drive systems, distributed energy solutions and fuel injection systems, under the following brands: MTU, MTU Onsite Energy, Bergen and L’Orange.

MTU

Our MTU centre in Pune houses a Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Workshop with an Engine Test Facility, a Training Facility and also a Parts Distribution Centre.

Under the MTU brand, we also have a strategic partnership with Kirloskar Oil Engines to package Emergency Diesel Generators for Nuclear Power Plant application to help provide back-up power during emergencies; and Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers is a long-term licensee partner of MTU for the Series 4000 marine engines used in several Navy and Coast Guard Patrol Vessels.

Bergen Engines

Our Bergen Engines India is the Centre of Excellence for design and development of Bergen Medium Speed (MS) engine-based Power Plant Systems. It is also the Asian hub of our Power System’s MS engine business with necessary sales support, project management and services capability, managing technical support of over 1.2 GW of Bergen Engines installed base in Asia directly or through its satellite service centers.
