Making Data More Accessible

At Rolls-Royce, we are embracing this challenge head on by making “Reinvent with Digital” one of our strategic pillars.

Tempest Design Iteration is an engineering tool that has been created to aid the preliminary engine design stage, it’s objective being to increase engineering efficiency.
EPDS reduces the amount of time spent by Engineers experiencing pain points, increasing the amount of engineering time and thereby contributing to the 50-30 objective. The data is easier to find, the provenance and quality of data is much easier to determine and the data is no longer stored in a variety of different formats, but in one structured database.
