Steve comments that “we’re in a business where long term relationships really matter and a key part of this is Trust.” To ensure we are trusted we have our Ethics and Compliance programme which is there to ensure that all employees are aware of the standards and behaviours set out within our Code of Conduct and adhere to them.
One of Steve’s key responsibilities is managing cases raised through our independent speak up service ‘Ethics Line’ which is available to our employees, suppliers and customers. In providing an answer to a question or resolving a concern, often involvement from the relevant subject matter expert is required. Another responsibility is developing and deploying training to our global employees around the world each year.
