Since joining the Rolls-Royce finance team five and a half years ago, Sian has admired how the culture of embracing radical change can be transformational – for personal growth and for driving change across the business.
When she was offered the chance to play a fundamental role in the business’s latest multi-year transformation programme as a Change Maker, she saw it as an “amazing opportunity to be part of something revolutionary”.
As a Change Maker, Sian gathers feedback from people across her division, identifying areas for improvement and focus, and using this knowledge to enhance the employee experience.
She helped to rollout the company's new purpose and behaviours – keep it simple, do the right thing, safety first and make a difference – and has embodied these behaviours in her personal evolution.
Getting involved in initiatives that interest her, training opportunities and project experience has pushed Sian out of my comfort zone and given her a “much greater sense of job satisfaction”. Now she aims to bring everyone along on the transformation journey.
