KienBoon (KB) Goh is the Head of IT for the Asia region within Rolls-Royce Power Systems. Since joining the Power Systems team 17 years ago, KB has seen the organisational culture change and evolve with the external environment. As an influential leader within Rolls-Royce, he understands the importance of every person and every incremental change – no matter how small – in transforming a business.

Today, his role in the Singapore regional hub spans everything from the oversight of day-to-day issues like employee IT onboarding to understanding the impact of big technological changes like AI. Alongside this, he is proud to be a Change Maker within the business – using his natural gifts to positively impact, teach, train and facilitate our multi-year transformation programme.

KB encourages his team to embed our new purpose and behaviours within their everyday operations – keep it simple, do the right thing, safety first and make a difference. By rethinking even the smallest task, he believes we can evolve our overall way of working for the better.

It’s important that people have the confidence to challenge the status quo and form new habits and routines. By finding better ways of working and rooting them deeply in how we operate, it can benefit us, the wider Rolls-Royce business and most importantly our customers.”

KB’s dedication to the company’s success is evident in his philosophy: “When we have the opportunity to be part of such an enduring and revolutionary company, we should all try our best to ensure its continued success. Big change starts with each and every one of us.”
