On Saturday, March 16th 2019, Rolls-Royce joined 40 other Indiana companies, universities and community partners to provide interactive exhibits and hands-on experiments at Passport to Hi Tech.
The event took place at Conner Prairie and inspired kids of all ages to discover more about biology, chemistry, engineering, manufacturing, computer science and more!
The Rolls-Royce booth featured the explanation of “Bernoulli’s Principle” through 3 simple activities using balloons, paper, ping pong balls and cups, plus the “turbine petting zoo” and the crowd’s favourite Rolls-Royce bubbles.
Rolls-Royce’s amazing volunteers explained the fundamentals of gas turbine engines to close to 1,000 children and adults. The feedback was that everyone had a great experience and learned a lot about STEM opportunities and careers.
All our volunteers enjoyed sharing their love of engines and what we do! Thanks to everyone who helped!
