Rolls-Royce is committed to advancing STEM education to develop the capabilities of our people, and of the communities and economies in which we operate. To further this mission, Rolls-Royce was proud to partner with the Science Film Festival (SFF) 2022 in Southeast Asia. The SFF aims to promote scientific literacy amongst children and youths and inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers and mathematicians from across the region. .
Organised by the Goethe-Institut, the theme of SFF 2022 was ‘Equal Opportunities in Science’, which closely aligns with Rolls-Royce’s philosophy to promote accessible and inclusive STEM education for everyone.
During the festival, Rolls-Royce aimed to increase awareness around the issue of diversity and inclusiveness in STEM fields and promote the message that study and work in science is for everyone, and to the benefit of all sections of society. This message is one that Rolls-Royce holds close to our heart, and we are working to reach 25 million people globally through quality STEM education by 2030.
