A Century of Excellence. Powering the Future.

A Century of Excellence. Powering the Future.

Rolls-Royce is an engineering company that designs, manufactures and services complex power and propulsion systems, primarily for the civil aviation, defense and energy sectors, leveraging advanced technologies to deliver more efficient solutions across air, sea and land.

For more than a century, Rolls-Royce has helped move America forward. Our engines carry U.S. service members into mission-critical operations and bring them home safely. We help keep the lights on when it matters most, powering hospitals, data centers and essential infrastructure when the grid can’t, even as AI and electrification stretch the limits of today’s capacity. In the skies, our technology helps connect families, businesses and communities across the country and around the world.

Our work spans 26 states, employing over 5,000 people directly and supporting thousands more jobs through our supply chain. In 2024 alone, our operations contributed $6.2B to the U.S. economy.

Defense
Strengthening Global Security. Delivering Power and Propulsion Excellence.

Our engines help power our Armed Forces and protect national sovereignty for the U.S. and our allies, safeguarding the missions of U.S. service members.

From the C-130, V-22 Osprey and the MQ-25, our proven engines helped us win iconic programs like MV-75 FLRAA and B-52 CERP. Whether deployed in contested environments or responding to wildfires and natural disasters, we enable vital 24/7 humanitarian and security missions when and where it counts.

With 90+ million AE engine flight hours completed on our dual-use AE engine family, service members trust Rolls-Royce engines not just to fly, but to bring them home safely. On land and at sea we provide the U.S. military with proven propulsion and drive systems that have been trusted for more than half a century.

Energy Solutions
Powering Critical Infrastructure.

Under our Power Systems division, we deliver trusted solutions for mission-critical environments — across marine, energy and industrial sectors. As AI and electrification stretch the limits of current infrastructure, our systems keep essential applications running, ensuring they are never offline. And we’re building these systems here in the U.S. from our manufacturing sites in Mankato, Minnesota and Aiken, South Carolina.

With decades of experience serving the most demanding applications in power generation, Rolls-Royce is well positioned to meet the country’s growing demand for dependable, American-made, no-fail energy systems from emergency backup systems to prime power generation including gas power plants and Small Modular Reactors (currently in U.S. regulatory review).
