Rolls-Royce supplies a wide range of propulsion systems for all types of offshore operations.

A typical system may consist of familiar Bergen diesel engines or generators, thrusters, controllable pitch (CP) propeller or the new Azipull system. Tests have shown that the Azipull system reduces fuel consumption by more than 16 per cent, and the reduction in emissions is also substantial. The various components of the propulsion system are linked together by means of a common control system.
