Ethics

Rolls-Royce is known around the world as a company that operates with integrity. The principles contained in our Global Code of Business Ethics applies to all of our employees across the globe. The Global Code of Business Ethics are the principles Rolls-Royce plc must abide by to preserve and enhance its reputation. We must live up to the high ethical standards we have set ourselves and act accordingly to laws and regulations. We believe that everyone has a role to play in maintaining and building upon our reputation. Our Global Code of Business Ethics is at the heart of the way we do business and how we deliver our values of integrity, reliability and innovation.

In the summer of 2009 all employees received an updated version of the Global Code of Business Ethics, which is currently produced in 18 languages to ensure the highest level of understanding of business ethics by our employees. The launch of the Global Code of Business Ethics was supported with ethical training for all our employees, which shows our commitment to maintaining the ethical standard of the company.

Global reporting lines enable any employee to report any ethical concerns and will help ensure that the company as a whole maintains the highest ethical standards. The reporting line is also available for use by our third parties such as our suppliers and customers to report any ethical concerns they may have. The company is committed to supporting the reporting of ethical concerns.
