provide to our customers.

and delivery performance.
These increasingly tough market demands and our drive
to be the customers' first choice has resulted in a
huge change programme and the transformation of Purchasing.

Cost, Quality, Delivery and Responsiveness - only by
improving in all four of these areas simultaneously
will we be able to provide the necessary level of support
to the Company in its future business plans. Our biggest
assets are our people and we are investing heavily in
the areas of personal development and training to provide
the skills to meet our changed needs.
We are confident that the global Purchasing organisation
that we are building, and the best in class supply chain
performance that we are fostering will help to take
Rolls-Royce, its suppliers and strategic partners through
the new millennium as a leaner, more competitive, world-class
leader.
