As part of our ongoing commitment to have a continuous dialogue with the supply chain, on 12th & 13th March 2008, we held our annual Global Supplier Forum in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. 103 of our key strategic Global Partners and Suppliers from across all four sectors and including Investments and Services spent two days in Atlanta with Rolls-Royce senior leaders.

The overall theme of the conference was ‘pace’, pace of change and execution to realise the potential growth opportunities and deliver on our customer commitments.

The forum provided a platform for discussion around industry, Rolls-Royce and Supply Chain business opportunities and challenges in 2008 and beyond, recognising the need for continuous improvement in all that we do as we strive for a world-class supply chain.

This is a view shared by Mike Orris, Chief Procurement Officer who said, “By working collaboratively and striving for continuous improvement in our processes and operations we can all play our part in meeting and even exceeding our customer commitments.”
