Rolls-Royce introduces a global supplier awards programme.

At the Global Supplier Forum in March, Rolls-Royce informed the attendees of the introduction of an annual Global Supplier Awards Programme. The programme will measure, recognise and reward suppliers on quality performance throughout 2008.

To qualify to enter, suppliers will have to meet a set of minimum requirements. Full details on these requirements will be communicated to the supply chain shortly.

There will be an award for the following categories:

• Aerospace
• Marine
• Energy
• Investments and Services

Successful suppliers will be recognised at a gala dinner to be held in conjunction with the Global Supplier Forum 2009. They will also benefit from a ’winners’ package that recognises their achievements.
