Singapore Airlines (SIA) is a key Rolls-Royce customer on a global scale and placed the largest order in the company’s history for Trent 800 engines. SIA was also the launch customer for the A380, powering its fleet with Trent 900 engines. Meanwhile, BOC Aviation, SilkAir, Tiger Airways and JetStar Airways all use the V2500 engine on their A320 fleets.

The RSAF is another important Rolls-Royce customer. Its C-130 Hercules transport aircraft and fleet of E-2C Hawkeyes are powered by Rolls-Royce T56 turboprop engines. It also supplies the engines and services for the RSAF’s fleet of G550 aircraft.

Rolls-Royce has a significant Marine presence in Singapore, carrying out sales and aftermarket activities as well as vessel design. Customers in the Singapore marine sector include Jaya Holdings, Keppel Offshore, Neptune Orient Line, PSA Marine, Republic of Singapore Navy, ST Marine and Swire Pacific Offshore.

The regional headquarters of the Rolls-Royce energy business are in Singapore, covering all Asia Pacific countries, from India to China and Australia, with customers such as Petronas in Malaysia, Pertamina and PLN in Indonesia, ConocoPhillips in Indonesia, ONGC in India and Woodside Petroleum in Australia. Its activities range from the sale of gas compression and power generation systems to the management of Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA) for the maintenance of rotating equipment.
