

Rolls-Royce Energy Business for Asia is headquartered in Singapore,
covering the region from India to China and Australia. Its
activities range from the sale of gas compression and power
generation systems to the management of Long Term Service
Agreements (LTSA) for the maintenance of rotating equipment.
The LTSAs include real-time health monitoring of equipment
in more remote areas via dedicated telecommunications systems.
The region is covered by a network of logistics centres,
which provide customer support such as spares and tooling
storage.

- ConocoPhillips in Indonesia
- ONGC in India
- Woodside Petroleum in Australia
- ExxonMobile in Malaysia

Power Generation
Our power generation activities focus on aeroderivative
gas turbines such as the Industrial Trent, Industrial RB211
and diesel packages and are able to offer integrated power
systems up to 150MW output. They deal with simple cycle,
combined cycle and co-generation applications, working closely
with customers to provide power wherever it is needed.

Oil and Gas
Our oil and gas activities offer compression and pumping
solutions, power generation and complete packaged systems;
main applications are turbo compressor packages (gas turbines
and compressors) and turbo-generator packages for the Oil
and Gas Industry. Our power generation applications in the
Southeast Asia region are predominately for offshore platforms
and onshore terminals relating to oil and gas. Click

Fuel cells
Rolls-Royce has signed an agreement with a Singaporean consortium
of companies to invest together US$100 million in developing
a commercially viable power system based on fuel cell technology.

Rolls-Royce Fuel Cell Systems also clinched the Leadership
in Development of Alternative Energy award at the Asian
Power Awards 2005, for its contribution to the development
of a commercially viable power system based on fuel cell
technology.
Customer Service Business (CSB)
A Rolls-Royce Customer Service Business has existed
in Singapore for 20 years and provides parts, services and
engineering support for our regional customer base. Currently,
CSB is located in the International Business Park in Jurong
on the west side of Singapore, and provides comprehensive
services for the Asia Pacific Energy customers.
