
On-Wing Care is a global in-field specialist maintenance support organisation for Rolls-Royce gas turbine engines. It utilises its in-depth product knowledge and technical expertise to support more than 7,000 tasks since its inception. It has prevented over 300 operational events or repair and overhaul shop visits to date.

A Field service population of over 300 are distributed globally to provide customers with rapid local support. We have 5 regional service centres located in Aberdeen UK, Houston USA, Baku Azerbaijan, Singapore and Macae Brazil. Our engineers help to provide support for all Rolls-Royce energy products throughout all stages of their product life.
- Field Service engineers are based close to the customers in 28 different countries
- The field service engineer skill competencies include mechanical, electrical and controls.
Products include:
- Total package support of Trent, RB211, Avon, 501, Proteus and driven equipment.
Types of work include:
- Installation and commissioning, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, Long Term Service Agreement resident engineer support, troubleshooting and decommissioning.
- The field service engineers operate in both the Oil and Gas and Power Generation industries and in on-shore and off-shore locations.
- During 2010, RR Energy field service engineers provided support to customers in over 50 different countries.

On call 24/7 are over 900 engineers providing a global service specialising in through life support for all customers. Rolls-Royce work with customers to plan repair and dry-dockings in advance to ensure the right level of support is on hand to minimize time in-dock.
