Platform management features:
- Flexible financing – monthly or hourly rates
- Fixed costs for predictable budgeting
- Rapid repairs for maximum availability
- Service exchange components
- Responsibility for maintenance transfers to Rolls-Royce
A key objective is to increase vessel availability,
moving work out of refit and into fleet-time, thereby
reducing refit times. The long-term nature of the arrangements
facilitates additional investment in service exchange
assemblies to further reduce downtime.
Complex support arrangements of this type normally
evolve as understanding of customer operations improves
and the partnership develops with clear visibility of
the cost benefits.
