Your single point of contact for
Model 250 parts & technical publications
The global fleet of 16,000 Rolls-Royce Model 250 turboshafts
and turboprops benefits from the support of a distribution
arrangement with Aviall Inc., the world's largest diversified
distributor of new aviation parts.
The agreement with Aviall, which took effect January
1, 2000, provides Rolls-Royce Model 250 customers with
a global distribution network and a single source for
virtually everything needed to maintain their aircraft.
By calling 1-800-AVIALL-1 (in the United States and
Canada; +1 (972) 406-2310 internationally) or connecting
online at www.aviall.com, customers can receive next-day
delivery as well as a 24-hour a day AOG support service.
All marketing, sales, order administration, warehousing,
and product and publications distribution is now conducted
exclusively through Aviall from more than 40 customer
service centres located around the world. Business relationships
between Model 250 operators and their airframe manufacturers,
and repair and overhaul activity performed for operators
by independent maintenance centres authorized by Rolls-Royce,
remain unaffected by this change in civil aftermarket
product distribution.
Aviall Inc., is a recognised leader in e-business, and
has recently rolled-out the next-generation version
of its highly-acclaimed web portal, aviall.com. Designed
for ease of operation and functionality, Aviall's website
is intended to enable productivity savings to be realized
by Aviall's customers and suppliers alike. Offering
a range of customisable service options, www.aviall.com
includes the following:
- A sophisticated search engine allowing customers
and internal users access to quickly access an 'e-catalogue'
displaying Aviall's inventory of over 230,000 parts.
The e-catalogue offers several different search capabilities
designed to minimize search time regardless of whether
or not users have part numbers to hand.
- · MO (R), a first-of-its-kind multi-line
ordering capability which allows customers to easily
download their own spreadsheets or parts lists directly
into www.aviall.com for immediate pricing. MO (R)
simplifies the large-order entry process by replacing
hours of manual typing and faxing with a quick "copy
and paste."
- · A special RFQ (Request for Quote) function
that allows customers to ask for pricing on hard-to-find
items, and automatically ensures that an follow-on
e-mail request is sent directly to the part supplier.
- Aviall, Inc. is the largest independent distributor
of new aviation parts. The company distributes and
markets products of more than 180 manufacturers and
distributes approximately 90,000 items from customer
service centres in North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific
region.
