Rolls-Royce service activities account for
53 per cent of Group annual turnover. We work together with customers
in order to deliver high equipment availability at an affordable cost.
As the original manufacturer of the engines, Rolls-Royce believes
it is particularly well-qualified to manage the risks it assumes
in the contracts for looking after its gas turbines in service.
Rolls-Royce provides services at a fixed price over the long term
by making use of the extensive knowledge it has of the products'
operational history and through the skills and responsiveness of
its people.
In the civil aerospace market, Rolls-Royce provides TotalCare®
and CorporateCare® for the airline market and business jet markets
respectively. In defence, the approach is through Mission Ready
Management Solutions (MRMS).
Each of these service provisions is focused on delivering increased
availability, predictability, lower costs and ultimately better
value for customers.
In the civil aerospace market some 50 per cent by value of the
Rolls-Royce fleet is now under the Group’s management.
Service revenues now account for over 54 per cent of Rolls-Royce
defence aerospace sales.
Rolls-Royce now has MRMS agreements in place with all
branches of the US military.
There are now three Operations Rooms - in Derby, Bristol and Dahlewitz,
supporting customers around the world.
