Over 20,000 vessels use Rolls-Royce equipment and this number continues to grow.
In 2010, Rolls-Royce Marine will open a new regional distribution center in Houston, Texas; this new facility is projected to harbour approximately $22m in service parts (over 30,000 items) to support the repair and overhaul operations and customer’s orders in the Western Hemisphere.
In 2009, Rolls-Royce Marine opened a new marine service center in Galveston, Texas; the 40,000 sq. ft facility provides state-of-the-art repair and overhaul support across the company's entire portfolio of marine products throughout the Gulf of Mexico region.
A new company in Mexico, Rolls-Royce Mexico S.R.L, located near the Port of Veracruz and local shipyards is currently generating business growth by further developing existing customers and marketing marine services and support for new customers in the Gulf and Pacific Coasts of Mexico. Rolls-Royce plans to operate a full repair and overhaul marine service center in Veracruz by the end of 2011.
A new marine service center on Harbour Island in Seattle, WA; a 21,000 sq. ft. facility provides full marine repair and overhaul support for customers throughout the U.S. Western region. Marine also opened a new office and warehouse in Long Beach, CA that delivers cutting edge service with special focus on supporting container ships visiting the ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles.
A new 25,000 sq. ft. marine service center located in Mount Pearl, NL near the Port of St. John's supports key marine customers in Newfoundland, the Atlantic Provinces and the Canadian Great Lakes.
In 2007, Rolls-Royce Marine moved to a new 35,000 sq. ft. facility in Miramar, Florida near the Port of Miami and Port Everglades. This modern facility is the premier marine repair and overhaul site in North America and is capable of servicing all Rolls-Royce marine products. This office supports a broad base of customers from the Caribbean and up the east coast to the Great Lakes.
