Established in
1985 to support engine installations
at Avondale Shipyard, Rolls-Royce
Commercial Marine in St. Rose has
75 employees and is the company's
largest Commercial Marine facility
in the U.S. Additional Commercial
Marine operations are located in Ft.
Lauderdale, FL; Houston, TX; Seattle,
WA and Boston, MA.
The St. Rose site overhauls cylinder
heads in our local shop and provides
field service and training in a newly
built training center. Warehouses
are stocked with various parts for
Rolls-Royce Marine Equipment sold
and serviced by Commercial Marine,
including Allen/Bergen Engines, Kamewa,
Ulstein and Aquamaster Propellers,
Rauma and Brattvaag Winches, Brown
Brothers Stabilizers and Tenfjord
Steering Gears. |

| Located
in the heart of the offshore oil industry,
the Houston Commercial Marine operation
supports the sale of Rolls-Royce Marine
products to some 2,000 customers operating
more than 10,000 vessels. It is co-located
with the Rolls-Royce Energy Systems
office and together they employ a
staff of 30.
The office also serves as the regional
headquarters for Rolls-Royce Commercial
Marine activities in the U.S., Canada,
Mexico and Central America, with
support provided by its offices
in Houston; Ft. Lauderdale, Florida;
Seattle, Washington; New Orleans,
Louisiana; and Halifax, Nova Scotia. |
