Michel Toutant was appointed President and COO
of Rolls-Royce Canada Limited in June 2007. In
this role, he is responsible for in-country management
of all Rolls-Royce business units in Canada encompassing
some 1,600 people in seven locations in six provinces.
He also runs the company’s Canadian Aero
Repair and Overhaul (AR&O) business.
Toutant joined Rolls-Royce Canada Limited in
1999 as Director, Aero Operations. He held increasingly
senior positions within the company, both in
Canada and the United States. Before joining
Rolls-Royce, he was at ABB where he filled international
assignments in operations and general management.
Toutant was educated at Université du
Québec à Trois-Rivières
(Canada), where he graduated in Mechanical Engineering.
He later pursued and obtained a Master in Business
Administration (MBA) at Université Laval
(Canada).
