Scott Crislip Vice President - Mission Ready Management Solutions

Andrew J. (“Andy”) Marsh was appointed President, Rolls-Royce Naval Marine Inc. in September of 2005. In this role Marsh is responsible for directing the company’s Naval business in North America. He is based in Walpole, MA and reports to James M. (“Jim”) Guyette, President and CEO, Rolls-Royce North America and the President, Naval.

Marsh has more than 20 years of manufacturing, operations and general management experience in a variety of industries, including marine. Prior to joining Rolls-Royce, Marsh served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Walker Magnetics Group Inc., an international manufacturer and supplier of magnet-based holding, lifting and separating systems and related equipment to multiple industries. Previously, he was Executive Vice President and General Manager for two divisions of AEC Sterling/Cumberland Companies, a manufacturer of auxiliary equipment for the plastics processing industry. During the early part of his career, Marsh spent 11 years with Bird-Johnson in various roles culminating as Director of Manufacturing and several years with the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics.

Marsh has effectively implemented numerous lean manufacturing initiatives in all of his assignments and was instrumental in the initial ISO 9001 registration of Bird-Johnson Company. Additionally, he has served as a representative on a Lean Manufacturing Council during his tenure at a private equity company.

Marsh is currently an elected member of the Partners Advisory Council to the Board of Directors for the American Shipbuilding Association.

Marsh graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and received an M.S. in Manufacturing Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA. He is also a registered Professional Engineer.
