Rolls-Royce North America Inc. is a major industry player in the U.S. and boasts a large presence with more Rolls-Royce engines built in the U.S.A. than anywhere else in the world.


The U.S. is the global headquarters for the company’s Helicopters & Small Gas Turbine Engines, Corporate & Regional Aircraft and Energy Businesses. Defense North America headquarters is situated in the company’s largest U.S. manufacturing facility located in Indianapolis, Indiana while the North American corporate headquarters is located just outside Washington, D.C. Annual sales in North America exceed $3.9 billion and the company’s total U.S. investment stands at $1 billion and growing.

With 12 principal facilities across the U.S. and Canada, Rolls-Royce regional capabilities encompass: manufacture of advanced gas turbine engines and components; marine propulsion systems; shiplift systems; oil pumping and power generation packages; as well as R&O, worldwide R&D for the energy business and new production assembly and test.

Rolls-Royce North America headquarters based in Chantilly, VA manages the day-to-day activities of all Rolls-Royce companies and business units in the region, which incorporates: Data Systems & Solutions LLC; Rolls-Royce North American Technologies Inc. - LibertyWorks™; Rolls-Royce Corporation; Rolls-Royce Canada Limited*; Rolls-Royce Energy Systems Inc.; Rolls-Royce Engine Services – Oakland Inc.; and the Naval and Commercial Marine Services in North Americas.
