Chris Cyr

Executive Vice President – Americas Customer Business
Rolls-Royce North America Inc.


Chris Cyr is Executive Vice President - Americas Customer Business within the company’s Civil Aerospace business. He is responsible for sales, customer service and commercial activities for the airlines within the Americas region, including North America, Central and South America. Chris is based in the Rolls-Royce North America headquarters in Chantilly, VA.

Chris began his current role in January 2007 following his initial appointment with Rolls-Royce in Derby, England as Senior Vice President, Europe Customer Business in 2002. In this position, he was responsible for the airlines within the European region.

Prior to joining Rolls-Royce, Chris worked at Goodrich Aerospace where he held a variety of increasingly senior positions within the Wheel & Brake and Landing Gear Divisions. Chris joined Goodrich in 1996 following a long and successful career at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford, Connecticut. His last role was Director of Sales and Customer Support for large commercial engines focusing on African and Middle Eastern markets. He began his career with Pratt & Whitney in 1984 as a Statistical Analyst doing designed experiments on the manufacturing floor.

Born in Danvers, Massachusetts, Chris obtained his Masters of Science in Statistics from the University of Iowa and holds a BA in Mathematics from Clark University. Additionally, Chris sits on the Board of TAESL, a joint venture company between Rolls-Royce and American Airlines.
