Below you will find the process Rolls-Royce

registered its capabilities with the supplier

1. A prospective small business must first register
with the Rolls-Royce Corporation supplier diversity

sent to the attention of the
. You are encouraged to send any additional
literature electronically.
2. The information entered into the registration
form will be accessed by Rolls-Royce Corporation
buyers, commodity specialists and engineers.
3. As sourcing strategies are developed, the
supplier diversity database will be queried
for capabilities.
4. If your company’s capabilities match
existing opportunities, your company could potentially
be contacted.
5. A one-on-one meeting may be requested. Please
ensure that all representatives of your company
are knowledgeable and able to answer questions
and articulate your corporate capabilities.
During the meeting, you should be prepared to
present, at a minimum, the following:
a) Capabilities
b) Current customers
c) Quality certifications/Awards
d) Available capacity
e) Qualifying small business classifications
f) Equipment
g) Parts/Services
h) Financials
6. The Buyer may request your company to fill
out a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA).
7. Once the NDA is returned, drawings may be
shared with your company.
8. The Buyer may request a Rough Order of Magnitude
(ROM) (Pricing) for the drawings.
9. If the ROM is competitive, a Rolls-Royce
Corporation supplier development engineer will
be engaged. The supplier development engineer
will visit your facility to verify your company’s
capabilities. The Supplier Development Engineer
will conduct mini SABRe assessment. It would
be in your interests to visit
the SABRe (Supplier Advanced Business Relationship)
website. The site details the expectations
we have of our suppliers. You are encouraged
to assess your organization using the self assessment
tool found on the site. This will give your
company an opportunity to understand any existing
gaps. Any development plans the supplier development
engineer deems necessary will be discussed during
the visit.
10. The supplier development engineer will
follow up on the development plans and record
improvements.
11. The Buyer can request a full SABRe assessment
that could result in your company being placed
on the Rolls-Royce approved supplier list.
