Rolls-Royce announced today that specialist leasing company LCAL has selected Trent 1000 engines to power five more Boeing 787-8 aircraft in a deal valued at more than $170 million.

Rolls-Royce said today that it had reached an agreement with Asiana Airlines of South Korea to supply Trent XWB engines for 30 firm and 10 option Airbus A350 XWB aircraft. Asiana will be the first Korean customer for the Trent aero engine.

Rolls-Royce announced today that US Airways has chosen Trent 700 engines to power up to 30 Airbus A330-200 twinjets. The value of the new business is approximately $2 billion and includes two long-term TotalCare® services agreements for the Trent 700 and RB211 engine fleets.
