Rolls-Royce provides a range of ship designs for passenger, cargo, fishing, offshore support/exploration and naval logistics. Each hydrodynamic, efficient vessel design is complete with diesel engines or gas turbines and all major systems fully integrated, enabling vessels to be built anywhere in the world.

Rolls-Royce provides onboard equipment and systems ensuring equipment compatibility with shorter construction times and a significant reduction in technical risk and cost. There is also a single point of contact for support.

Marine ship systems

We provide systems solutions or contribute to system selection, the interfacing of the propulsion system and equipment to the ship structure, ship services, auxiliary systems and ancillaries for both commercial and naval vessels.

Propulsion systems

Where a complete propulsion system is required we can bring the right products together to develop the optimum solution. Our standard propulsion packages with CP propeller or Azipull thruster offer powers from 1.5 to 8MW. For larger vessels, we provide a complete service from initial concept design, equipment selection and supply to in-service support and financing options.
