Rolls-Royce, working with customers under a long term contract gives predictability to budget forecasting, spares availability and dedicated Rolls-Royce OEM support at the waterfront.

As the equipment design authority Rolls-Royce can optimise maintenance against the operating profile, maintain the design intent and manage configuration and obsolescence over the period of the contract (5 to 25 years).

Long term service agreements incorporate the following features:

  • Flexible financing - monthly or hourly rates

  • Fixed costs for predictable budgeting

  • Rapid repairs for maximum vessel availability

  • Service exchange component availability

Effective maintenance and spares planning guarantees spares availability, technology insertions is also part of the package. Regular inspections and condition-based maintenance can lead to equipment life extension and the availability of service exchange components can significantly reduce the length of maintenance periods.
