Exchange pools

A time saving option for engine overhauls that now includes a number of azimuth and tunnel thrusters.

The prime goal of our equipment exchange pools is to save money and reduce vessel downtime. All components are overhauled to strict quality standards, with any design improvements incorporated for maximum reliability, and carry the normal Rolls-Royce warranty.

Engines exchange pool

An approach to parts exchange that gives you access to a wide range of overhauled units from 12 global centres, including the Bergen factory.

Thruster exchange pool

To streamline thruster repairs or reduce overhaul times, customers can now use our thruster exchange pool that includes popular older TV models as well as current production TT models.

All maintenance has to be planned. By having an exchange assembly, or a pre-agreed range of components waiting on the dockside when the vessel arrives, repair and overall times can be reduced, without the risk of a substandard repair or waiting for parts.

Alternatively, using exchange components can mean some maintenance work, normally undertaken in dock can be moved to time alongside or undertaken at sea. Removed components are then sent back to Rolls-Royce from the next port of call.
