EHM enables our customers to increase vessel availability and reduce operational cost through effective maintenance planning and scheduling. Sensors are employed on critical power and propulsion equipment for data acquisition and monitoring.

Asset and vessel data is turned into actionable information providing knowledge of equipment health, service requirements and operational recommendations. This information is displayed on the bridge and the data is also transmitted to our dedicated on-shore facilities for advanced analysis of equipment health by our highly skilled technical staff.

Analysis of vessel data allows us to speed up diagnostics and reduce the need for on-site visits. On a monthly basis we can provide our customers with a dedicated report with actions and recommendations focusing on improving equipment availability and performance.

EHM forms part of a portfolio of advanced services including MarineCare and Energy Optimisation Service (EOS). By leveraging our wide product expertise, system integration capability and vessel knowledge, our aim is to provide industry-leading support and service solutions designed to optimise vessel performance through life.

The EHM service monitors and manages key Rolls-Royce equipment in order to:

  • Reduce operational cost through optimal maintenance planning and scheduling
  • Turn asset data into actionable information

EHM service is provided as two levels:

Level 1: Equipment Health Monitoring - offering onboard monitoring and display of equipment health.

Level 2: Equipment Health Management - offering detailed onboard monitoring and display of equipment health, as well as regular data transfer ashore, access to vessel data via a customer portal and scheduled service reports and expert recommendations on equipment health and maintenance
