In the A-series only the impeller shaft and steering/reversing rods are made of stainless steel, all other components are aluminium. The impellor housing is lined with polyurethane or stainless steel to minimise wear and corrosion. A water lubricated cutless bearing is fitted to allow ease of service and maintenance. Units come complete with the inlet duct for ease of installation by bolting or welding.
