The Rolls-Royce standard and underwater mountable
ranges are available in 10 standard sizes with input
powers from 330kW to 6,500kW and a range of propeller
options (ducted or open). Mounting for the standard
range includes the bottom well cover type, which is
lowered inside the hull and bolted into place, or the
weld-in type. Underwater mountable models can be dismounted
using a special lifting procedure without the need to
drydock, important for larger vessels and semi-submersible
drilling rigs.

Removal is performed easily and safely with a specially
developed lifting arrangement and unique sealing and
locking device incorporated in the thruster column.
