Bergen C25:33 Gas generator set

Currently in development from the successful C25:33 diesel

Following the success of the gas-fuelled versions of the Bergen K and B-series engines, a gas version of the reliable C-series is now under development. Gas engines with six, eight and nine cylinders in line will be derived from the diesel engine. With initial deliveries scheduled for 2010.

It will retain the maintenance features of the diesel parent including the two-piece con rod, which gives the option to exchange the liner, piston and cylinder head as a single unit, significantly reducing the time and cost of major overhauls.

Bergen C gas engines will be available with powers from 1440 to 2,400kW
