Bergen 35:40 Gas generator set

The Bergen B35:40 delivers low exhaust emissions, the highest possible electrical and heat recovery efficiency and outstanding reliability. It sets new standards in power and efficiency in the 720-750rpm class with exceptionally low emissions of NOx, CO2 and particulates, and is a high technology, low risk design that builds on the latest Bergen B diesel hardware.

Twin turbochargers with variable turbine geometry (VTG) deliver precise airflow and the solid-state ignition with individual cylinder timing and diagnostics ensures optimum efficiency. A large swept volume and optimised combustion technology delivers the high cylinder output.

Classed for power generation and mechanical propulsion applications, V12, V16 and V20 cylinder versions are available with powers from 5250kW - 8750kW

For meet power requirements between 2,300kW and 3,600kW gas variants of the Bergen B32:40 in-line engines are now in development and scheduled to be available during 2010.
