Packaged as the AG9140 the Allison 501 (derived from
T56 that powers the C130 Hercules) is the US Navy’s
on-board ship generator in service on three US Navy
ship classes and with the navies of Spain, Greece, Korea
and Japan’s Maritime Self-Defence Agency.
