Our focus is ongoing safe and reliable positioning and operation. To meet these requirements our equipment is designed and built to the highest standards and approved by international classification bodies. We offer a range of windlass and mooring winch designs.

When integrated with our chain jacks, chain stoppers and fairleads, a complete mooring system can be tailored to exactly match user requirements. This modular approach reduces design time and shortens procurement timelines.
Automated handling systems for well intervention
Our systems have been developed to enable most types of well intervention, both light and heavy, to be carried out safely. This includes the various wirelining procedures, running coiled tubing or jointed pipe, and also drilling to extend existing wells into hydrocarbon layers in fields that have not yet been drained.

Mooring Winches
Users can select from three types of mooring winch designs, to ensure the mooring arrangement selected is the best match to their requirements. The options are: Movable windlasses, Triple windlasses and Vertical shaft windlasses.
These lightweight high strength designs can be supplied with a fairlead and stopper, or stopper and fairlead arrangements, depending on customer preference. We use the latest design tools to ensure loads are distributed to the right area of the structure with no compromise of safety and reliability.
Chain and Wire Fairleads
These are supplied as hinged or trunnion types. The hinged type is most suitable for chain winches while the trunnion type is most suitable for wire winches in order to keep the wire at a fixed pivot point. Both types can be delivered with a subsea removal system if required.
Chain Stoppers
After final installation the load will be transferred to the chain stopper. The chain stopper is equipped with load cells for continuous monitoring of chain tension. The chain stopper is of modular design and can be scaled to all chain diameters.
Control Cabins
These have been developed substantially over the last 10 years in order to create a safer working environment for the operator. They can be supplied as standalone units or complete with an instrument room, with HPU and interface cabinets installed, wired and tested for ease of installation.
Intervention Towers
A modularised coiled tubing system designed to improve well intervention operations. It can be easily converted to a work-over unit for plug and abandonment operations using an optional jack with 500mT pulling capacity. The system is the lightest on the market.
- Minimises rig-up heights
- Minimised well downtime
- Safe and easy access for work and inspections
- Integrated injector and well control equipment
Coiled Tubing Reels (Drop-in-drum)
Developed for harsh working environments like the North Sea with strict safety requirements, the modular reel concept can handle up to 6,000m of 2 7/8” tubing or up to 7,300m of 2 3/8” tubing. Drum diameters range from 4.3 to 5.9m. The design is lightweight and one power stand can serve a number of reels. They are quick to rig up and require minimal maintenance.
Advanced tension frames (AFT adjustable length)
Ensures safe injector handling during coiled-tubing (CT) operations. The CT injector rests on a secure platform at all times, eliminating the need for lifting down or aside CT injector between CT runs.
It makes operations less weather dependent and more efficient, alleviating many of the problems of stabbing in rough conditions. Meets today’s personnel safety requirements.
Modular deck skidding systems
Handling well intervention modules on open deck demands a high degree of safety. These systems are designed for safe storage and transportation of well intervention modules that need access to the well centre.
Integrated and modular bolt-on solutions are available. The robust design has low integration costs and extended equipment lifetime.
Bespoke mooring systems
Our mooring systems are based on many decades of experience and are designed to the highest safety standards. As we offer a wide range of mooring windlasses, fairlead and stopper arrangements, customers can select the product that matches the requirement. Engineering times are reduced and we can project manage the complete installation.
Well intervention
Improved oil recovery (IOR) drilling is an attractive and growing market, driven by the strong development of subsea oil wells combined with the introduction of new technology for such operations.
We offer complete automated handling systems and stand-alone products for well service from fixed installations, floaters and vessels. Based on established products, we have developed automated systems which can perform well workovers, intervention, plugging and removal.
Safer and more effective
The focus is on safe and cost-effective rigging and operation. The portfolio has been specially developed for offshore operations in tough weather conditions, with stringent requirements for operational safety and efficiency.
We have extensive experience as a sub-contractor for well service equipment such as coiled tubing reels, tower structures, advanced coiled tubing tension frames and jacking frames for platforms and ships.

Semi Submersible rig West E-drill of Eastern Drilling
At each corner of the rig a double windlass and fairlead system for eight point thruster assisted mooring is installed for pre-set mooring in deeper waters.
The four double windlasses are designed for 76mm chain diameter R4 chain, eight fairleads take the same diameter chain together with four control cabins and a central release panel were all part of the Rolls-Royce supply. Eight Rolls-Royce UUC355 azimuth thrusters each rated at 3,300kW provide the propulsive power.
