Rolls-Royce supply a range of underway replenishment
(UNREP) and refuelling at sea equipment. Semi-automated
all-electric systems have been developed to complement
conventional abeam and astern refuelling rigs.

Each of the four rigs on the RFA Fort class replenishment
ships can transfer solids or liquids
For liquids and solids transfer (currently two tonne
load) the dual capacity high performance rig transfers
loads from a single station and can safely operate up
to sea-state 6 and 7.
As the system is semi-automated, an individual at the
control console operates all winches involved in the
transfer from the supply ship.
Features and benefits
- All-electric for low manning and low maintenance
- Semi-automatic operation for improved safety
- Capable of operating up to sea-state 7 (liquids)
- In service with 12 navies
Moveable HighPoint (MHP)
The Rolls-Royce Moveable HighPoint gives vessels to
ability to receive liquid or solid transfers and can
be installed during build or retrofitted. They are manufactured
to the required length to ensure the reception points
are at the correct height relative to the distance from
the deck edge.
