Rolls-Royce naval deck machinery comprises a wide range
of windlasses and winches specifically designed to meet
exacting naval standards. All units can be tailored
to suit virtually any naval requirement. Operation is
by thyrister controlled electric, hydro-electric or
three-speed AC electric pole change drive depending
on user preference.

As each ship application is invariably unique, the
size of winch/windlass/capstan is dependent on vessel

line are intentionally open design parameters.
