Rolls-Royce appoints new president for Naval Marine Inc

Chantilly, VA - Rolls-Royce today announced the appointment of Patrick Marolda as President - Rolls-Royce Naval Marine Inc. effective immediately.

In this role, Marolda will develop and implement the North American business strategy for the Rolls-Royce Naval Marine business. He will be based at the Rolls-Royce Naval Marine Inc. headquarters in Walpole, Massachusetts, with an additional office in Chantilly, Virginia, corporate headquarters for Rolls-Royce North America. He will report to James M. Guyette, President and CEO, Rolls-Royce North America as part of the North American management structure and receive business direction from David Price, Managing Director, Rolls-Royce Naval Marine.

Marolda has more than 20 years of technical and general management experience in the Marine and Defense industries. Prior to joining Rolls-Royce, Marolda served as President, Fenwall Safety Systems, a division of Kidde plc, that specializes in the design and manufacture of overheating detection sensors and industrial protection systems for the aerospace industry. Before that, Marolda spent 20 years in increasingly senior roles with the General Electric Company, culminating as President, Reuter-Stokes and subsequently, General Manager, Asset Optimization Services.

A graduate of SUNY Maritime College in New York, Marolda also holds a Masters of Science in Engineering Administration from George Washington University in Washington DC.

A native of New York, he currently resides in Sudbury, Massachusetts with his wife Valerie and three children.
